WHY I AM RUNNING

We all know that working families are struggling financially. Groceries, housing, insurance and monthly bills are skyrocketing due to inflation caused by irresponsible spending in Washington, D.C. It is a failure of the leadership of the political class of both parties. Corruption reigns in our nation’s capital, and sometimes it feels like division reigns everywhere else.

There is much more that unites us, than divides us. What we need is optimism, solutions and most of all, courage.

That’s why I’ve decided to be a candidate for State House in Fargo, North Dakota.

As an engaged citizen, I’ve helped activate thousands with training on the political process that empowers them to make a difference. Now, I’m jumping in the ring in a more direct way.

We must focus more power and funding in our states and local communities, rather than following along with every policy coming from politicians in D.C. In North Dakota we have a tremendous opportunity to lead by example.

North Dakota has all it needs for success and self sufficiency – agriculture, oil, coal, gas, water aquifers, rail infrastructure, a growing tech industry and, most importantly of all, hard working people. We have a strong culture and values. Our state has tens of billions in various funds – with the potential to use these funds for either the politically well-connected, or for public benefit.
